Good News for Israel is an Australian not-for-profit ministry committed to proclaiming Jesus (Yeshua) as the Messiah of the Jewish people and the Saviour of all mankind.
We seek to help Christians understand God’s continuing purposes for Israel, support the return of the Jewish people to their homeland, and encourage believers and nations to stand with Israel in the fulfilment of biblical prophecy.
What began with a heart for Israel has grown into a ministry of proclamation, biblical teaching, practical support and partnership with Israel and the nations.
Good News for Israel began in 2002 through Fraser and Jayne Harding, with a heart to encourage Christians to understand God’s purposes for Israel and to stand with the Jewish people. Fraser & Jayne Harding — Founders
A new Board was established to provide leadership, governance and direction for the next season of Good News for Israel.
A partnership with Keren Hayesod was established, and Aliyah Dinners commenced to strengthen Christian support for Jewish people returning to Israel.
Kingdom Church was launched by Ps Kyal Cumming, creating a local community centred on worship, discipleship, Scripture and mission.
The Torah Portion was launched, developing into a regular teaching ministry helping believers engage with the Torah, Haftarah and the foundations of Scripture.
Key ministry partnerships were established in Europe and Israel, broadening GNFI’s relationships and opportunities to serve.
The annual Kingdom Festival was launched, together with the annual celebration of the biblical Feasts, creating opportunities for teaching, worship and community.
Following the October 7 attacks, GNFI addressed Jewish communities and issued letters of support from the Christian community, standing publicly with Israel during a time of profound grief and uncertainty.
The Sister City model was established as a practical response to antisemitism, while a GNFI prayer team travelled to Israel to pray, encourage and stand alongside the people of the land.
The Milk Course was launched as a structured discipleship resource, helping believers establish strong biblical foundations for a lifetime of following Jesus.
The story continues as we seek to faithfully serve God’s purposes for Israel, the Church and the nations.
Good News for Israel is led by people who share a love for Jesus, Scripture, Israel and God’s purposes for His people and the nations.
Greg has served in Christian ministry for many years and has a deep love for Jesus, Scripture, Israel and the Jewish people. He is committed to helping others understand the Bible in its historical and Jewish context and to recognising God’s continuing purposes for Israel and the nations.
Kyal is a businessman and Senior Pastor of Kingdom Church on the Gold Coast. He has a heart for seeing people grow as disciples of Jesus and is passionate about biblical teaching, worship and missions, helping people build a faith firmly grounded in Scripture.
Tony brings a background in accounting and business management to the Board. He has a deep commitment to Israel and the Jewish people, and a desire to see Christians understand the Jewish foundations of their faith, God’s continuing purposes for Israel, and Jewish people come to know their Messiah.
