Massei – Journeys – מסעי
In this week’s Torah portion, – Massei (Journeys) – we are looking at Numbers 33:1 – 36:13
The list is given of the forty-two journeys and camps of Israel from leaving Egypt to their arrival to the plains of Moab across the Jordan river from the land of Canaan.
The boundaries of the Promised Land are designated, cities of refuge are described and named.
The daughters of Tzelafchad decide to marry within their own tribe of Manasseh, to maintain their father’s inheritance within the tribe.
